eCommerce Architect

General Purpose: 

• Looking for a hand’s on, deeply technical resource very familiar with eCommerce architecture and operations. PWA framework and Shopify experience is a big plus. 
• Responsible for technical architecture, design, implementation, integration and maintenance of features for Corsair’s eCommerce brands and platforms.
• Working together with key cross functional partners (such as other product managers, Product Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Content Management, Engineering, and Operations) through all steps of software development lifecycle to determine requirements, and implement and launch initiatives across Corsair and its subsidiaries. 

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: 

• Maintain application infrastructure for eCommerce websites across desktop and mobile and related applications.
• Analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing features. 
• Integrate eCommerce system with backend systems like ERP, CRM, Tax, Payment and Fraud. 
• Work with business users to architect, design and implement new features and customizations to the platform. 
• Work with businesses to manage various international websites for multiple languages/currencies and improve/automate content workflows. 
• Support and develop database driven web interfaces for Cloud architecture. 
• Work closely with IT team to design, develop and maintain high operational standards. 
• Develop a deep understanding of the existing/legacy Web Platform including associated databases and data sources. 
• Help with vendor evaluation and platform migration across platforms. 
• Work closely with visual designers to bridge design and engineering work efforts. 
• Work closely with customer support teams to provide second level support for customer issues like accounts, orders, payments and fraud. 
• Maintain internal process/ procedures diagrams and documentation as necessary. 
• Be part of building a team to bring Corsair direct to the consumer. 

Essential Experience: 

• BS in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience or training 
• Experience working with Payment systems and Fraud management systems 
• Experience working with Akamai CDN for caching and download delivery and web firewall 
• Experience building consumer facing websites and responsive web applications 
• Experience working with Performance testing and test automation tools 
• Experience working with Agile development process along with CI/CD tools 
• Strong understanding of HTTPS protocols for securing web applications 
• Strong communication skills and excellent time management skills 
• Use JIRA to create, manage, and organize work tasks effectively
• Must have a Customer Service attitude

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years working with content management systems and 
• 5+ years of ecommerce and direct-to-consumer experiences  
• 8-10+ years of Web Architecture, Design and Development  
• 8-10+ years of frontend development experience (CSS, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript/React & PHP/Laravel and TypeScript) 
• 8-10+ years of database development experience SQL Server and Oracle 
• 8-10+ Excellent knowledge of RESTful APIs design
• 8-10+ years of integration experience with backend systems like ERP, PLM, CRM and SSO
• Leverage GraphQL for efficient data fetching and state management
• 6 years of Full-stack development
• Proficient in NodeJS, GraphQL

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Annual Salary Range $180,000—$200,000 USD
