Job Title: Equity Intern
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (On-site)
Type: Internship (Full-Time)
Experience: 6 months- 1 year

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Equity Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in equity research, analysis, and financial markets. The intern will work closely with the finance and investment teams to support decision-making and strategy related to equity investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equity Research:
    Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and market trends to support equity investment decisions.
  • Financial Analysis:
    Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and market data to assess company performance and provide insights for potential investments.
  • Valuation:
    Assist in the valuation of stocks, using methods such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company analysis, and other financial models.
  • Market Monitoring:
    Track key developments in financial markets, including stock performance, market trends, and economic indicators.
  • Report Preparation:
    Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries based on research findings for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Data Management:
    Collect, organize, and manage financial data related to equity markets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborative Projects:
    Work with team members on investment strategies, portfolio management, and other related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, equity research, and investments.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and valuation techniques.
  • Experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools 
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in equity research or investment banking.
