Your opportunity is to join as a key member of a highly talented and highly motivated field engineering team. You will be responsible for understanding our customers business and technical needs and to work with them in the capacity of technical evangelist and trusted advisor in crafting the next generation Intelligent systems.
You will be an integral part of the Field Engineering Organization in APAC and focus on India auto business. You will collaborate with Account Managers who act as a hunter role with a focus on net new logo acquisition. 

Responsibilities  
  • As an experienced subject matter expert in a customer facing role, you will partner with the account manager to guide customers through their Digital Transformation journey. Responsibilities include understanding Customer’s technical needs, architecting technical solutions, and demonstrating them through product presentations, Discovery/Technical workshops, proof of concepts/values, and evaluations to win the technical sale.
  • You will engage with customers in a consultative and business led approach striving to help them maximize their business transformation goals through aligning with Wind River’s Intelligent systems.
  • You will focus on crafting ideal technical solutions and business strategy that is win-win for customers and Wind River. 
Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success 
  • Technical Pre-sales experience exhibiting strong communication skills required for technical presentations/demonstrations.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive vertical (both OEMs and Tier-1/2 suppliers) and understands the software development life cycle from development, testing and deployment.
  • Experience in customer facing technical pre-sales, Solution Architecting roles with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Engineering, Services, Distributors, Partners etc.
  • Hands-on Embedded software development experience with RTOS/Linux
  • Experience in the Automotive vertical with good understanding of Software defined vehicle architecture and middleware stacks.
  • Ability to conceptualize and build Use-case based technology demonstrations
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++/Ada/Java/Python/Rust/Perl
  • Familiarity with Safety and Security standards and the applicable safety standards for Automotive (ISO26262).
  • Experience with DevOps/CICD development methodologies including good understanding of tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker etc. is a plus
  • Experience with Cloud Native technologies including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, etc., is a plus.
  • Good understanding of AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure will be a plus
Qualifications 
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech
  • 6+ Years of work experience in Embedded systems specifically related to Automotive Industry, including hands-on experience building the systems, detailed understanding of the software life cycle, tools usage and able to put together a demo/POC to highlight the value proposition of WR solution.
  • Good communication skills, confident and comfortable in presenting to Senior technical audiences, whiteboarding the solution, and articulating the value proposition.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
