To help us achieve this mission, we’re looking for an exceptional freelancer to support us as Production Coordinator for the Localization pipeline for Baby Bot’s Backyard Tales.
Role overview:
The Production Coordinator – Localization Specialist will oversee the adaptation, production and delivery to our app and YouTube channels of our series “Baby Bot’s Backyard Tales”. This work requires strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for language and cultural nuance. You will work closely with translators, dubbing companies and post-production teams to ensure high-quality localized content that resonates with our global audience.
Key responsibilities:

Project management: Coordinate the end-to-end production process for localizing video content into seven languages (Neutral Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Indonesian, Turkish) ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Coordinate production of YouTube Shorts, Compilations, and Cover Art/Thumbnails for this content.

Collaboration: Work closely with translators, dubbing studios, and post-production teams to manage scripts, voiceovers, and video adaptations.

Quality assurance: Review localized scripts, voiceovers, and videos to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, and alignment with Lingokids' brand voice.

Asset management: Maintain organized records of all localization assets, including scripts, voice recordings, cover art, and final video files.

Communication: Act as the point of contact for localization updates and feedback, bridging communication between internal teams and external vendors.

Budget management: Track localization expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget. Manage invoices and work with the finance team to ensure proper reporting.

Process improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in the localization workflow to optimize time and resources.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies, Translation, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field.

Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with content production/ project management or localization, preferably in media, animation, or educational content.
- Experience managing multilingual projects and working with cross-functional teams.

Skills:
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with video production and post-production workflows is a plus.
