The Opportunity
Everyday Health Pregnancy & Parenting is looking for an experienced Group Product Manager to join and help lead our Product team.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team who is enthusiastic about developing both products and developing product management skills and experience in other people. The role involves driving the strategic direction of our suite of mobile apps and web products and developing talent to help bring the roadmap to life. 
The Group Product Manager must possess exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills working closely with leadership across design, engineering, editorial, marketing, business development and sales. Their ability to successfully manage and mentor other product managers and delegate work is essential. 
This position is a remote role open to candidates in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining and communicating a clear product strategy that aligns with the company’s overarching goals
  • Leading a small team of 1-2 product managers, driving the strategy, vision, and execution
  • Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, business development and sales to ensure product alignment with the overall business strategy
  • Staying abreast of industry, competitive, and consumer trends in the digital publishing space with a focus on pregnancy & parenting markets 
  • Identifying new & engaging products balancing the needs of monetization models with the consumer experience
  • Fostering effective cross-functional communication and collaboration
  • Creating and prioritizing a product backlog, developing detailed product stories, and launching high-quality features and products on time and within budget
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 7+ years of experience Product Management
  • Proven leadership and direct management experience
  • Strong expertise in managing the roadmap lifecycle from ideation, prioritization, requirements gathering, risk mitigation, release and optimization for mobile apps and websites
  • Sound knowledge of lean UX and agile product development methodologies across product discovery, research and validation including strong analytical skills, user testing methodologies, and strong grasp of monetization models
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and cross functional collaboration skills in mid-sized organizations
  • Prior experience with digital ad/marketing tech and digital commerce is a plus
  • Prior experience working with remotely distributed teams across multiple time zones and navigating the associated challenges is desirable
