Instructional Designer

We’re looking to hire a Instructional Designer for a Fortune 500 Financial Services client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.  

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Training team to design and develop training materials across various modalities: Instructor-Led Training, Virtual Instructor-Led Training, eLearning, self-paced learning, and virtual classrooms.

This is a 12 – month contract + possible extension. The team is located in San Antonio Texas, and the role is on-site 3 days/week (2 days/week remote).Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities: 

• Design and development and adult learning theories
• Prioritize work and complete in a timely manner
• Use your strong written and verbal communication
• Apply attention to  detail, organization, time management, and multi-tasking
• Learning agility, as required for work assignments
• Collaborate and work effectively as part of local or remote teams
• Identifies areas for improvement within CG training processes and/or technologies and makes recommendations for solutions

Instructional Designer Requirements: 
 

• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) and Camtasia for eLearning development.
• Experience in video development and editing.
• Expertise in the Design and Development phases of the ADDIE model.
• Ability to create training content for diverse modalities: ILT, VILT, eLearning, self-paced, and virtual classrooms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online (document management).

Nice to have:

• Ability to develop eLearning with Adobe Captivate.
• Skill in using Adobe Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop for content creation.
• Experience working within the NovoEd Learning Platform.
• Capability to create graphic designs for instructional materials.
• Ability to record and edit audio for training.
• Experience conducting Analysis, Implementation, and Evaluation within the ADDIE model.
• Skill in designing and developing effective assessments and tests.
