Job Description

The IT Program Management & Transformation intern at Lionsgate will support the department's daily operations, focusing on opportunity management, project management, and application support. Responsibilities include assisting with process and standards development, supporting the PMO team in various tasks and initiatives, creating weekly project and portfolio status reports, coordinating meetings, managing action items, maintaining the PMO Teams site content and Wiki, supporting MS Project Online administration, QA project schedules, setting up new resources and projects, testing new functionality, assisting project managers, and assisting the Director of Enterprise Architecture with statistics on Microsoft Azure products and creating analysis reports on collected data. The internship runs from June 10th to August 15th, 2025, and requires working 4 days a week in the office.
Must have:
  • IT degree pursuit
  • PMBOK & project management knowledge
  • Microsoft tools proficiency (Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Weekly reporting & meeting coordination
  • PMO team support
  • Data analysis & reporting

Summary of Position

The IT Program Management & Transformation intern will provide support and drive efficiency in the day-to-day operations across the department, including opportunity management, project management and application support. The candidate shall assist with processes and standards. In addition, the coordinator shall support the program management team (PMO, Applications Support) in tasks and initiatives, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Sr PMO Analyst, assist with weekly project and portfolio status reporting
  • Coordinate meetings, preparing materials, recording minutes and managing action items
  • Manage PMO Teams site content and maintain Wiki
  • Support MS Project Online administration, as required
    • QA project schedules
    • Setup of new resources and projects
    • Testing of new functionality and improvements
  • Assist project managers on various project tasks, as required
  • Working closely with the Director Enterprise Architect, assist with statistics on Microsoft Azure products. 
  • Create Analysis Reports on the collected data that crosses the workspaces and applications.

Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university working towards a degree in IT, computer science & info systems preferred
  • Experience in IT environment
  • Knowledge of PMBOK and project management domain
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools: Outlook, SharePoint/Teams, Excel, PowerBI, Project

All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.

Details

  • Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Compensation

$18 CAD per hour
