Accor is seeking a visionary and motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join their team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies aligned with organizational goals to enhance employee performance. Responsibilities include designing training programs, conducting needs assessments, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), creating diverse training materials, evaluating program effectiveness, collaborating with department heads, managing the L&D budget, and reporting key performance indicators to senior management. The ideal candidate will stay current with industry trends and provide leadership to the L&D team.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in L&D
  • Proven track record in designing training programs
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms and LMS
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Good to have:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Professional certifications (CPLP or ATD)
  • Experience with Opera or related systems
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus

Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As the L&D Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organization's goals and enhance employee performance.

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative training programs and learning initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities across the organization
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other e-learning platforms
  • Create and maintain a diverse curriculum of in-person and online training materials
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure their impact on employee performance
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure learning initiatives support business objectives
  • Manage the L&D budget and resources efficiently
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the L&D team
  • Report on key performance indicators and present findings to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in L&D or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful training programs
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Proficiency in performance evaluation and training effectiveness measurement
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation
  • Knowledge of organizational development principles
  • Professional certifications such as CPLP or ATD certifications are a plus
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the local context of AlUla, Saudi Arabia

Additional Information
