This highly visible role involves leading the global controls and compliance function, overseeing the SOX control framework, and supporting technical accounting and continuous improvement. The position requires monitoring the global governance structure and establishing the organization's control environment, processes, and policies. Responsibilities include assisting in oversight of accounting controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify risks, assessing control implications of new accounting standards, and investigating accounting questions. The role also involves building relationships with operational leaders and monitoring compliance dashboards. A strong work ethic, leadership, and collaborative approach are essential.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or compliance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Ability to lead risk assessment, process design, controls, and monitoring

Would you like to use your Finance experience in a highly visible role to make a difference? We are looking for a Manager, Accounting Controls & Compliance to join our Corporate Finance team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the global controls and compliance function, overseeing the SOX control framework, supporting the business technical accounting and continuous improvement opportunities, and monitoring various aspects of the global governance structure. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, the Sr. Manager, Internal Controls & Compliance, leads establishing and maintaining the organization's control environment, processes and policies. Success in this role requires being driven and innovative, with a strong work ethic and a leadership style characterized by a straightforward style, approachability, a team orientation, and collaboration! 

 

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work on site 3 days per week.

 

A day in the life of the Manager, Accounting Controls & Compliance: 

  • Assist in overseeing the accounting controls and compliance environment within the organization. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand control processes, identify risks, and support remediation strategies. 

  • Stay informed about new accounting standards and assist in assessing their control implications and supporting business adoption. 

  • Provide detailed analysis and support to the organization and executive management by investigating accounting questions and issues. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with operational leaders to offer timely assistance on matters with accounting implications. 

  • Monitor compliance dashboards and report status, risks, and opportunities to the Manager and Controllership organization leaders. 

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or compliance roles. 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. 

  • Ability to lead risk assessment, process design, controls, and compliance monitoring.  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $166,000.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
