As Marketing Director at Ludeo, you'll collaborate with the CMO to develop and execute B2B and B2C marketing strategies. Responsibilities include attracting game studios and publishers (B2B) through events, newsletters, and social media, and leveraging paid media and organic initiatives (B2C) to integrate Ludeo into existing game marketing channels. You'll build relationships, lead agency partnerships, represent Ludeo at industry events, manage influencer programs, and create compelling communications. The role demands a creative storyteller with strong communication and organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.

About the role

As Marketing Director, you will collaborate with the CMO to shape and execute B2B and B2C marketing strategies, while also leading partnerships with creative agencies to bring these strategies to life. On the B2B side, your efforts will center on attracting game studios and publishers through event activations, engaging newsletters, thought leadership in game discovery, and targeted social media campaigns. For B2C, you’ll work closely with Ludeo’s Customer Success Director and studio marketing teams to leverage paid media, including social and influencer-driven campaigns, while also creating organic initiatives that integrate Ludeo into existing marketing channels such as websites, newsletters, email campaigns, and game trailers.

This role is tailored for a creative storyteller and communicator who excels at building strong relationships and driving impactful campaigns. Based in El Segundo, CA, you’ll play a pivotal role in Ludeo’s growth, contributing to strategic decisions and championing its vision and voice.


What you'll do

  • Design and execute B2B and B2C programs and messaging strategies for game studios and publishers
  • Create bespoke best practice marketing initiatives utilizing Ludeo technology into existing marketing channels of our game partners 
  • Grow our social media presence to establish Ludeo as a subject matter expert in game discovery
  • Develop and maintain programs that positively impact the Ludeo community, managing both our Ludeons (consumers) and game studios/publishers
  • Serve as the company's principal ambassador, representing Ludeo at industry events and demoing our technology to the global community
  • Execute an education program through Ludeo Influencer Ambassadors
  • Create and distribute compelling communications that promote the company's vision and value proposition
  • Plan and execute public relations initiatives, including press conferences and agency management
  • Manage and grow Ludeo's presence across social media platforms to enhance the company's online profile

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in creative, marketing, public relations, and/or communications
  • A minimum of 7+ years of managing core game communities, moderating social media accounts and content creators along with experience launching core video games is strongly preferred
  • A consistent track record of developing well-reasoned, strategic plans and executing to completion
  • Knowledge of video games - especially strategy, shooter, story, action, and arcade games
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong, productive professional relationships with cross-functional collaborative partners
  • Proven ability to work with third-party agencies and talent relations professionals
  • Expert knowledge of all global social platforms and their nuances: TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Threads, FB, Snapchat, Giphy, Discord, X, Reddit
  • Experience and interest in taking a data-driven approach to creating community marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with social listening, video analytics, and creator marketing tools such as Spiketrap, Synthesio, Tubular, StreamHatchet, and CreatorIQ
