Capcom USA is seeking a Marketing Strategy Intern for Summer 2025 (10 weeks). The intern will assist the Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy, supporting daily marketing operations and campaigns. Responsibilities include developing upsell/cross-sell tactics for online games, conducting market research, proposing CRM and email marketing strategies, assisting with creative ideation, and leading social listening. The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS degree in a related field and possesses strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. A keen interest in the video game industry and familiarity with Capcom's portfolio are a plus.

Position Intro
The Intern would be assisting the Capcom USA (CUSA) Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy through administrative support and management of titles and campaigns across the Capcom portfolio with Digital Sales, Brand Marketing, PR/Social, Business Operations, and other departments.
Will work with cross-functional groups such as Senior Management, Marketing, Sales, and other relevant stakeholders.
In this highly impactful assignment, the intern will work on a mix of actual deliverables while building skills for a possible career in the video game industry.

This is a short-term, entry level, temporary position expected to last  10 weeks and will be  compensated accordingly.
Internship Period:
  • Starts in May/June 2025 (10 weeks)
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy with daily marketing operations and campaigns.
  • Help develop upsell, cross-sell, and lifecycle marketing tactics for Capcom’s online games post-launch.
  • Assist the Marketing Strategy team with market/consumer research and analysis, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Propose and execute CRM and email marketing strategies to support key marketing beats across Capcom’s game franchises.
  • Assist the Marketing team with creative ideation and asset creation, with the opportunity to influence creative directions for campaigns via A/B testing and other methods.
  • Lead and report on social listening tools to inform Brand Managers and other stakeholders of conversations and social buzz occurring for both the industry and our games.
  • Submit asset requests through project management tools such as Wrike.
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Math, Psychology, Gaming, Video/TV Production or another related field.
  • Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office Tools (Email, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong desire to learn how the business and marketing segment of the video game industry operates, including the intricacies of working at a Japanese multi-national corporation (MNC).
  • Has a keen interest in the interactive entertainment industry.
  • Knowledgeable about industry brands; notably Capcom.
  • Proactive and energetic attitude with enthusiasm for the opportunity and willing to engage with external partners.

  • Familiarity with Capcom’s portfolio of IPs a plus
  • Exceptional project management, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

This is a short-term, entry level, temporary position expected to last between 8-10 weeks and will be considered and compensated accordingly.    
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Salary Range:
$25 per hour
