We are driven by our deep passion for making AAA games that leave a lasting impact on the world, and we match that drive with a commitment to quality in every aspect of our work. We foster a positive, supportive work environment built on mutual trust and open communication, where everyone has a voice and is treated with respect. With a bias for action and a belief in each other, we’re betting on ourselves to deliver truly unforgettable gaming experiences.

We're a remote-first company, but we believe people should be able to work where they can be most productive. Currently, we can employ in the United States and Canada. We also have offices in Los Angeles and Seattle for those interested in hybrid or full-time office work.

We are looking for an Outsource Producer to work in conjunction with our Art Director, Art Producer, and Outsource Managers. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting a team of Outsource / MTX Managers focused on ensuring that high-quality content and development work is being delivered by multiple external vendors. In this role, you'll manage key relationships with our external partners, enabling a strong understanding of Wildlight's best practices for external development. You'll clearly communicate across multiple teams with transparency and plans, with a deep understanding for how to properly structure, organize, and set the outsource team up for success.

In this role, you'll report to the Art Producer.

Responsibilities

    • Foster clear communication between development teams and external partners.
    • Asset schedule management.
    • Engage and maintain relationships with external vendors.
    • Identify and escalate resourcing needs or production challenges related to scope, capacity, or efficiency.
    • Accountable for budget forecasting and management. You’ll identify opportunities to streamline costs, improve processes, and increase efficiency.
    • Proactively identify problems, pinpoint the cause, and propose solutions. This role is not just about project management, but about being resourceful and taking initiative to ensure the success of our game.
    • Manage appropriate contracts and invoice approvals such as sourcing, evaluations, statements of work, and clearly defining expectations.

Requirements

    • 3+ years experience in the games industry.
    • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Jira/Flow, formerly Shotgrid).
    • Coordinating and managing a game development project schedule.
    • Deep understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies associated with developing games.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience managing a project budget.
    • Familiarity with invoices, contracts, SoWs, budgets, and technical systems.
Compensation: We believe that a team that builds together wins together. Because of that, our compensation packages consist of competitive industry standard base salaries, an annual bonus, and royalties. For this specific role, the base salary range is $100,000 to $145,000 with the final salary offered dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity.

Benefits: We are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment with a no-crunch culture and an unlimited PTO policy so people can take the time when they need and want it! Additionally, we offer comprehensive healthcare, dental & vision coverage for you and your family and paid parental leave.
