Job Description
As a Proposal Manager at Cyara, you'll manage the entire proposal lifecycle for RFPs, coordinating stakeholders and adhering to strict deadlines. Responsibilities include developing proposal materials (writing, editing, formatting), understanding automated testing and Cyara's differentiators, building and maintaining the proposal content library, identifying opportunities to improve competitive advantage, and continuously improving the RFP response process. This role is crucial in driving business success and involves building the proposal management function at Cyara, creating response libraries, and implementing creative coordination and review processes. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in proposal development within a high-growth SaaS environment, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience with RFP response software.

As a Proposal Manager at Cyara, you will work with a diverse team of subject matter experts to deliver high-quality proposals in support of our customer's unique program goals and objectives. Working under the leadership and guidance of the VP, Solution Sales & Enablement, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of proposal responses -- from facilitating bid/no bid decisions, collaborating with SMEs, identifying win themes, creating and executing a proposal project plan, conducting kick-off meetings, gathering clarification/follow-up questions, reporting proposal progress to stakeholders, submitting the final proposal for consideration, and contributing to maintaining the RFP response library.

What You’ll Do:
- Project manage the proposal lifecycle for RFXs, from initial intake to final submission, coordinating inputs from all stakeholders.
- Manage multiple proposals concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Develop proposal materials by writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Develop an understanding of automated testing and monitoring, Cyara’s unique differentiators, and the competitive landscape
- Build and maintain our proposal content library and ensure the accuracy of responses as our products, brand, and business evolves.
- Identify opportunities to improve our competitive advantage in future proposals
- Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the RFP response process
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in proposal development, with a proven track record of producing winning proposals
- Experience working in a high-growth, SaaS environment
- Exceptionally high attention to detail with excellent editing, proofreading and formatting skills
- Extremely organized and capable of managing deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using and learning RFP response software (e.g., Responsive, Loopio)
- Government RFP experience a plus
