Job Description

This QA Automation Engineer role focuses on regulatory reporting for an Investment Banking client. The project utilizes Windows, Linux/Unix, and .NET technologies and involves integrating an existing solution with a new high-volume data archiving system. Responsibilities include hands-on automation testing with Java, end-to-end migration testing in UAT, manual validation (regression testing, new functionality, and bug fixes), defining and running test cases, defect reporting using Jira, analyzing requirements and deriving test scenarios, preparing test data, and collaborating with development and vendor teams to resolve UAT issues. The role is based in Wroclaw, Poland, and is part of a Scrum team.

Must have:

Hands-on automation testing with Java
End-to-end UAT migration testing
Manual test case creation and execution
Defect reporting in Jira
Requirement analysis and test scenario derivation

Good to have:

Agile framework experience
Banking experience

Project description

Project is related to regulatory reporting for one of Clients from Investment Banking area. We are using Windows, Linux/Unix & .Net technologies. We also plan to start necessary development activities related to integrate existing solution with a newly created umbrella system used for high volume data archiving.

Responsibilities

There are several scrum teams working on project tasks in Wroclaw & Zurich already. We are extending existing Team located in Wroclaw to support extended developing of business driven artifacts. We aim to hire the best people and give them maximum autonomy for realizing their potential and growing technically/professionally. Competence, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly supported on program level, to create a culture where each individual can grow in their desired direction. We are looking for experienced QA in migration.

Skills

Must have

Test Analysts (TA) responsibilities:

Hands-on automation testing a must with Java

Run end to end migration in UAT

UAT manual validation (which covers regression test and tests of new MP functionalities and bug fixes)

Define, review, run manual test cases, collect evidence and report defects using Jira

Analyse requirements and derive test scenarios together with BAs

With help of BA analyse test data to have complete coverage for test cases

Prepare or coordinate with DEV to have test data ready

Analyse issues in UAT and coordinate with vendor and source DEV teams if further analysis are required

Nice to have

agile framework experience

banking experience preferred
