Job Description

The Quality and Reliability Engineer ensures products meet reliability criteria set by Rivos, vendors, and customers. This involves testing designs to achieve high reliability standards, identifying weaknesses in design and manufacturing, and supporting design improvements for reliability. Joining Rivos, a company revolutionizing the silicon industry with a RISC-V based computing platform, offers the opportunity to work with experts in design, software, test, and validation, challenging the status status quo to create products with superior performance and energy efficiency.
Must have:
  • Define reliability tests methodologies meeting customer requirements.
  • Create and execute reliability test plans with vendors.
  • Debug issues observed during reliability testing with design teams.
  • Identify failure mechanisms and root causes with foundry and OSATs.
  • Work with Test Engineering and DFT teams for pattern identification.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in Silicon qualifications (server, client, mobile, HPC).
  • Experience with pattern implementation for reliability testing (DVS/EVS, HTOL).
  • Experience debugging patterns/issues with OSAT/Test teams during HTOL.
  • Silicon Qualification experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication, organization, self-motivation, problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Subject Area.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of advanced nodes products

Job Details

The primary responsibility of the Quality and Reliability Engineer is to ensure that our products meet the reliability criteria set by ourselves, our vendors and suppliers and our Customers. This means that we test our design and products to achieve high standards of reliability, identify weaknesses in design and manufacturing and support improving design for reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define reliability tests methodologies that meet customer requirements
  • Create reliability test plans and work with vendors to execute them
  • Work with design teams to debug issues observed during reliability testing
  • Work with foundry and OSATs to identify failure mechanisms and their root cause
  • Work closely with Test Engineering and DFT teams for identifying patterns

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the reliability methodology for silicon products (knowledge of advanced nodes products is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5-7 Years of Experience in planning and executing Silicon qualifications tasks in server, client, mobile or HPC products
  • Experience with pattern implementation for reliability testing, DVS/EVS, HTOL and other tests
  • Experience of working with OSAT/Test team to debug patterns and issues observed during HTOL
  • Silicon Qualification experience is a must have.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), Organization skills, highly self-motivation and problem solving skills are required for this role.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Subject Area.
