What You'll Do
Understand the concepts of geometry design
Understand the development of pay item quantities and calculations
Understand the process for development of a project cost estimate
Effectively research projects and assist with marketing efforts from a roadway point-of-view
Gain proficiency in technical writing
Gain proficiency in all design standards, manuals, and criteria
Gain proficiency in the use of MicroStation or AutoCAD, including civil platforms (such as OpenRoads Designer, Civil3D, etc.)
Requires moderate technical supervision of tasks by senior staff
Complete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task Lead
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent from an ABET Accredited University, majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering
0-4 years of post-graduation experience
Engineering Intern (EI) certificate or ability to obtain within 1 year
