Position: Sales Engineering Enablement Manager

Location: Remote

Overview:
At Varonis, a leader in data security and analytics, we are seeking a Sales Engineering Enablement Manager to lead our enablement team. This role involves strategic leadership and management of a team responsible for the onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing development of our sales engineering staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales engineering within the cybersecurity domain, coupled with proven experience in team leadership and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead and manage the Sales Engineering Enablement team. Mentor and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
o Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development of team members, ensuring they align with individual strengths and career goals.
· Manage Enablement Frameworks:
o Develop and implement an end-to-end enablement strategy for the Sales Engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
o Drive the development and maintenance of technical systems, testing labs, and sales demos to support the Sales Engineers and Partner Solution Architects
· Strategic Planning:
o Develop and execute strategic plans for sales engineering enablement, aligning with Varonis’ business goals and sales objectives.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of enablement programs and make data-driven improvements.
· Training Program Development:
o Design and implement comprehensive training programs for sales engineers, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
o Create and maintain a repository of enablement resources, including documentation, training materials, and best practices.
o Facilitate live and virtual sessions that engage the Sales Engineering team and present complex ideas succinctly
· Cross-functional collaboration:
o Work closely with senior leadership across sales, marketing, product management, and R&D to ensure cohesive strategy and execution of enablement initiatives.
o Facilitate regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to assess progress, address concerns, and encourage open communication within the team.
Qualifications:
· Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing sales engineering teams, with a focus on enablement and talent development.
· Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in areas such as Cloud Security, DLP, SIEM, Security operations, data security, information security, data governance, and threat detection.
· Industry Experience: Extensive experience (6+ years) in sales engineering, technical enablement, or related roles within the cybersecurity industry.
· Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.

Technical Skills:
· In-depth understanding of networking and security technologies.
· Experience with scripting languages and technical tools relevant to cyber security.
