We are looking for a Senior WalkMe Learning Consultant to join our growing TaaS consulting services team, focusing on innovative learning solutions and thought leadership in a client-facing role. This person will design and develop WalkMe solutions and content for system training and technology adoption. The role involves leading development, managing content, customizing evaluative elements, and potentially managing junior WalkMe content development consultants.
Must have:
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analysis and recommend best practices for WalkMe platform utilization.
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle development and deployment of WalkMe implementations and content.
  • Apply time and project management skills to deliver assigned deliverables on time.
  • Lead junior WalkMe content development team members, providing oversight and coaching.
  • Develop training solutions using WalkMe, applying instructional design expertise.
  • Ensure standards are followed to meet quality, client requirements, and expectations.
  • Utilize consulting and communication skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Develop instructional strategies and content for role-based learning needs.
  • Maintain a Content Development Tracker and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Promptly identify issues or risks to Leadership and recommend solutions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a rock star Senior WalkMe Learning Consultant to join our growing Training as a Service (TaaS) consulting services team with a focus on developing innovative learning solutions and thought leadership in a client-facing role. This person will play a key role in the design and development of WalkMe solutions and content to support ongoing system training and technology adoption engagements. The goal is to be able to lead the development, manage the content and customize the evaluative elements to the client’s needs and expectations and may include managing junior (onshore and offshore) WalkMe content development consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Learning Needs Analysis and recommend best practices for utilization of the WalkMe platform for assigned projects
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle development and deployment of WalkMe implementations and content development for assigned projects
  • Apply time management and project management skills to deliver assigned deliverables according to project timelines & standards
  • Apply team leadership and instructional design skills and experience to effectively lead junior WalkMe content development team members through the process of developing effective learning solutions
  • Develop training solutions using WalkMe (e.g., DAP Content, eLearning courses, quick reference guides, and work instructions) utilizing his or her review and expertise in instructional design and digital adoption best practices and methodologies
  • Ensure standards are followed to meet defined quality standards, client requirements and exceed client expectations
  • Utilize effective consulting and communications skills to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
  • Develop instructional strategies and content relating to role-based learning needs and/or enterprise systems (SAP, ServiceNow, etc.) processes
  • Develop and maintain a Content Development Tracker for assigned projects, and communicate status to the appropriate stakeholders on a scheduled basis
  • Promptly identify issues or risks to Leadership and recommend solutions

Required Skillsets

  • This is a remote position based in the US; southeast preferred
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing WalkMe content for enterprise systems
  • 5+ years of corporate or consulting experience in a Learning and Development role
  • 3+ years of consulting experience (extensive client-facing experience)
  • Demonstrated ability with Articulate Storyline or similar eLearning development tools (preferable)
  • 4+ Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team of Instructional Designers and Training Developers for a Learning & Development (L&D) project, providing oversight, leadership, feedback, coaching support, and quality assurance (QA) for team deliverables

  • Demonstrated ability to apply Instructional Design methodology, thought leadership, innovative thinking, and adult learning principles in a learning and development project (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)

  • Demonstrated ability with Articulate Storyline or similar eLearning development tools (preferable)

Education

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and work experience in a corporate or consulting role
  • DAP Delivery Consultant certification
