As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be involved in the development of complex web applications that enable great user experiences and multi-channel strategies based on Magnolia CMS. You will work with a team of designers, consultants, and software engineers, covering the entire software development process, from analysis through execution. Your customers will be large B2B & B2C companies with a strong web-affinity. You will mentor younger team members and share your knowledge internally and externally. Must have:
  • Java/J2EE knowledge with standard software frameworks like Spring.
  • Experience in AEM technologies (Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly).

  • Experience within development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
  • Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

 

  • University or college degree in computer science or business computer science is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of current web technologies (Java/J2EE) as well as experience with standard software frameworks (Spring)
  • Experience in other Java-based CMS solutions, such as Magnolia, is a plus
  • Expertise in software architecture and technical design
  • AEM: Experience with AEM technologies (e.g. Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly) 
  • Knowledge in the areas of SQL or Apache Jackrabbit Oak, Web Services (SOA), XML, XSL, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX
  • Experience within development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn
  • Fun working in an interdisciplinary team
  • Tolerant, open and able to discuss controversial problems
  • Very good English skills
