Senior Product Designer

The opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on our marketplace and administration tooling. As a Senior UX Designer at Unity, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our commerce platform, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and meet the complex needs of our users. Your work will directly impact the usability and success of tools that manage financial transactions, budgeting, usage reporting, subscription management and account management.

What you'll be doing

• Work with the Product, Research and Engineering teams to define & align around the requirements of a given product/feature Identifying user needs and translating business goals into product opportunities

• Proactively build strong relationships with, engineering partners, researchers, writers, marketers and fellow product teams throughout the design process

• Conduct research, design and prototype ideas quickly, and validate product decisions using user feedback and data

• Express ideas and concepts through strong and clear visual/verbal communication skills and ability to present those ideas to senior stakeholders

• Produce usable components for the cross-functional engineering teams to integrate into the product itself

What we're looking for

• UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on finance, administration tools and/or SaaS products.

• Able to understand and follow a design system, and contribute to it when necessary

• Ability to communicate regularly (written and verbally) with precision, clarity, and respect

• Professional use of standard design, prototyping tools and project management software (Figma, Jira)

• Portfolio of product design highlighting strong user research, user experience design, interaction design and visual design

You might also have

• Proficiency in designing intuitive data visualizations for financial reports, dashboards, analytics tools, or experience working with enterprise-level solutions

• Knowledge of the underlying web technologies approaches like HTML, CSS, JS, Responsive design, React, Progressive enhancement is a plus

• Experience designing for complex workflows, such as multi-step approval processes, audit trails, or bulk transaction processing
