We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer Senior II to join our Storage team in ShareFile. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using C# and .NET Core. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, ensuring high-quality code, applying design patterns, and optimizing for security and performance. Responsibilities include conducting code reviews, improving team efficiency, mentoring junior engineers, and working with product teams to align engineering efforts with business and customer needs.
Must have:

- Proficient in C#, .Net, .Net microservices
- Experience in REST APIs
- Git and CI/CD awareness

- Experience in designing/developing applications of scale
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with on-premises deployment
- Experience building Windows applications and MSI installers
- Knowledge of Agile development practices

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer Senior II to Join our Storage team in ShareFile. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on-technical person responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications using C# and .net Core. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements and drive technological advancements.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high quality code considering design patterns, security, performance and optimizations inclusive of the necessary unit and integration tests.
- Enable the spirit of high quality code and software development best practices within the team through mediums like code reviews and other knowledge sharing platforms.
- Be on the lookout for process improvements that can accelerate team efficiency and facilitates high performance.
- Mentor and guide other junior members on the team wherever there is an opportunity for knowledge sharing.
- Understand business and product well to work in conjunction with Product teams to arrive at the best deliverable considering customer experience and engineering feasibility.
Your background:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science engineering or related fields.
- At least 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in C#, .Net, .Net microservices
- Experience in any JavaScript based frontend technology like preferably ReactJs
- Experience in designing/developing applications of scale preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge and previous experience working with Cloud Platforms; AWS, Azure , AWS is preferred.
- Having experience working on on-remises deployment model is added advantage .
- Experience in building Windows applications and MSI installer packages is good value add.
- Experience in working with REST APIs
- Git and CI/CD process awareness
- Knowledge of Agile development practices preferred.
