Software Engineer II - .NET and C# focus

In this role, you will:

• Write clean, maintainable code for new features and improvements
• Fix bugs and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with team members on technical solutions
• Help maintain existing codebase
• Document technical specifications and processes
• Learn and adopt new technologies as needed
• Participate in occasional on-call support duties on a rotational basis

Your background: 

• 2+ years of software development experience including internships
• Basic understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Proficiency C# and .NET 6 or later
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• 2-3 years building web applications and/or RESTful services, contributing to production codebases and implementing new features from requirements
• Database experience with MongoDB including query and schema design
• RESTful API development including endpoint creation, request/response handling, and basic authentication implementation
• Version control and collaborative development using Git workflows, participating in code reviews, and working effectively in team environments
• Testing and debugging skills with experience writing unit tests, using debugging tools, and troubleshooting production issues
• Deployment familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
• Good written and verbal communication

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: 

• Experience with AWS
• Experience using Terraform
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Willingness to pick up new languages and technologies as required
