You will be part of our growing APAC Customer Delivery team. The team is comprised of functional, technical and project experts. We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead our regulatory reporting focused projects in Japan. . You will be responsible for developing solution designs, implementing and configuring AxiomSL's regulatory reporting and risk management solutions for clients in the financial services industry. The role involves gathering client requirements, configuring AxiomSL products, and providing technical expertise to ensure the successful deployment and integration of AxiomSL software within the client's environment. The consultant will work closely with client teams, project managers, and AxiomSL's internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet regulatory compliance and reporting standards.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the functional lead for complex projects, working directly with customers to review business/functional/technical requirements and coordinating across teams, and ensuring project deliverables align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with client business and technical teams to define and document functional specifications, regulatory changes, and system enhancements
  • Lead the design and execution of test plans and scripts, ensuring application changes meet business requirements and perform as expected
  • Lead data mapping for system integrations, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with business needs
  • Liaise with client and technical teams to understand project functionality and provide implementation insights
  • Scope Management & Risk Control: Monitor functional specifications and manage change requests to keep projects within scope and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with sales, pre-sales, engineering, product development, and other cross-functional teams to prepare estimates and project plans for new opportunities
  • Assist with management of project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved
  • Manage and communicate issues to the customer and internal project teams
  • Coordinate the deliverable of core product enhancements with the project management, Engineering & QA departments to ensure that they fit into the project timelines

What We Expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 5 years of operational/business analytics experience within the financial regulatory reporting field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Axiom Controller View v9 or v10
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken Japanese and English
  • Warm personality with excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working directly with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
  • Proficiency with project management software tools, agile methodologies (preferably Scrum and Kanban), and best practices
  • Be able to scope, and convey plans, issues, and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical, and concise manner
  • A strong demonstrable record of customer service and ability to succeed in a multi-location, multi-cultural delivery team
  • Must be customer focused and capable to work within a collaborative team environment focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer
  • Project Management Certification, including PMP and Agile, is preferred and considered a differentiator
