Job Description

The Senior Systems Test Engineer will independently plan and perform testing of software and hardware. They will interpret wireless specifications, design test plans, and document defects. They will also troubleshoot problems, develop testing programs, and contribute to design reviews. The role requires a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience. The individual will be responsible for testing and modifying general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. The individual will design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures and document systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. The role requires the ability to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and document problems with program function, output, or content. The individual will develop testing programs that assess the effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

General Summary:

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the testing and modifying of general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system. Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent)  in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Pay Range: $107,000.00 - $160,600.00
