The main responsibility of this role is to drive the automation for SOC power optimization. This involves working with SOC power team members to automate power analysis and optimization tasks, exploring new methodologies to analyze power data and create power metrics to identify optimization opportunities, and driving automated approaches to improve SOC power efficiency across IPs. The role also includes exploring machine learning approaches to optimize SOC power, collaborating on training data preparation, researching ML-based solutions for power simulation, optimization, and modeling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy power optimization automation, review results, and improve methodology on efficiency and runtime to support a broader scope of designs.
