Job Description

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions, particularly within Oracle CCB systems. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive test plans, collaborating with various teams to understand requirements, performing different types of testing, identifying and documenting defects, automating test cases, analyzing test results, and participating in Agile/Scrum meetings. You will need to adhere to quality assurance best practices and industry standards to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Must have:
  • Develop and execute test plans for CCB functionalities.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer with a focus on CCB systems.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good to have:
  • Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and environments.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software QA Engineer with expertise in Oracle CCB systems to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software solutions by designing and implementing effective test strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate CCB functionalities and integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on CCB platforms to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools, and work closely with the development team for resolution.
  • Automate test cases where applicable to streamline and enhance testing efficiency.
  • Analyze test results, report findings, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance software quality.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to align QA efforts with development timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer, with a strong focus on CCB systems.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and environments.
