Job Description

As a Software Engineer I at Anthology, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions, taking ownership of team product areas, resolving production issues, and ensuring effective communication. The role involves learning and applying new system design responsibilities, and requires hands-on experience with .NET, MVC, Web API, C#, and various front-end technologies like React, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and TypeScript. You will be expected to work with database systems, particularly SQL Server, and contribute to the overall success of the team's projects. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with .NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and C#
  • Experience with front-end technologies like React and Angular JS
  • Hands-on experience with database systems (SQL server)

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing solutions for the area of the application owned by the team
  • Taking ownership of the team’s product areas running in production
  • Learning and applying new system design responsibilities
  • Resolving production issues and defects for solutions owned by the team
  • Ensuring proper team and inter-team communication practices
  • Identifying issues with internal team communication practices 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience in
    • .NET/.NET Core
    • MVC
    • Web API
    • C#
    • NET 5/6, ASP.NET Core
    • React, Angular JS
    • HTML, CSS
    • JavaScript
    • jQuery
    • TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with database systems (SQL server) with the development of stored procedures and triggers
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
