Job Description
The Software Engineer II will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions for the higher education community. This role involves collaboration, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance. The responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, participating in design discussions, developing testable code, stabilizing the product suite, working with team members, participating in SCRUM ceremonies, and sharing knowledge through technical presentations. The candidate should have relevant experience in .NET technologies and experience with Azure DevOps and Git, among other qualifications.
Must have:
- BE/BTech/MCA degree or equivalent functional experience
- 5-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical background in Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC)
- Hands-on experience in .NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, WC
- Hands-on experience with CSS, JavaScript-jQuery, TypeScript, with UI frameworks
- Hands on experience on SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, OOPS
- Experience in programming and usage of NUnit & Moq
- Working experience with Azure DevOps (or TFS) and Git and CI/CD
- Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 on customization Building Blocks

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions to the higher education community. This role requires collaboration, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance to ensure the best possible outcomes for our products.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing business requirements, providing constructive suggestions and input that help refine acceptance criteria
- Understanding the design for enhancements in the product and developing accordingly; actively participating in design discussions and create HLD and LLD.
- Participating in all phases of product development through development, unit testing, testing and demonstration
- Developing testable, reusable, efficient, legible code for enhancements in Product Suite
- Stabilizing and maintaining the Product Suite, analyzing the root cause of issues, and suggesting areas for improvement
- Working with team members, clearing blockers and ensure delivery of high-quality software and meet team commitments.
- Actively participating in SCRUM ceremonies to raise issues/areas of concern and suggest areas of improvement
- Sharing knowledge through technical presentations
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- BE/BTech/MCA degree or above in Computer Science/IT or equivalent functional experience
- 5-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical background on Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC) with experience in web-based application development
- Hands-on experience in .NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, WC
- Hands-on experience with CSS, JavaScript-jQuery, TypeScript, with one or more UI frameworks (React, Angular)
- Hands on experience on SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, OOPS, coding standards
- Experience in programming and usage of NUnit & Moq
- Working experience with Azure DevOps (or TFS) and Git source management and CI/CD implementations
- Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 on customization Building Blocks
- Solutions – Building, Layering and Publishers
- Schema, Workflow, Business Rules, Plugins
- Flow/Power Automate with connectors
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Apps
- Integrating with 3rd party ISVs
- Experience in analysing business requirements and provide viable technical solutions and discuss impacted areas.
- Experience in developing standards and procedures to determine and suggest solutions and multiple alternatives to resolve issues and areas of concern and improve product quality
- Experience in creating HLD and LDD and lead team in development.
- Experience developing testable, reusable, efficient, legible code for enhancements
- Experience with unit testing and debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Takes accountability, self-motivated, Results-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
- Ability to participate in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
- Ability to actively contribute to team commitments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
