About This Role
As a Simulator Support Engineer JV01 the incumbent performs complex but standard technical tasks including preventative and corrective maintenance work on site and may execute some modifications. Contribute to the team to ensure that all Training devices are maintained as per their qualification standard and in line with ECFT quality guidelines and procedures. In addition to defined job functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties that may be reasonably required for the smooth operation of ECFT Engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities
Action PMT tasks and ensure they are carried out according to standards (Maintenance manuals) and signed off, as well as ensuring PMT raised deficiencies are followed up to closure in a timely manner. Updates NDB, Charts, Checklist etc as required across the fleet. Simulator changeouts are done strictly following procedures.
Ensure all QTGs reruns are signed off, as well as ensuring reruns of raised deficiencies are followed up to closure in a timely manner. Required to troubleshoot related issues and communicate with the QTG Specialist for resolution as required. Consult senior colleagues for any clarification.
Diagnose and resolve issues and promptly update respective DRs. Works with the senior colleagues during AOGs and coordinate to communicate with other departments for sharing info for better customer satisfaction.
Sim issues to be promptly monitored and actioned and provide necessary information to CAE Montreal. Consult and coordinate with Senior colleagues and ensure early closure of open SPR issues.
Update Databases on the device, perform visual alignments, maintain records of parts and tools in Gemini
