Summary

As a Software Engineer in Test at Techland, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a defect reporting tool for the game and editor. You'll develop and implement automated performance tests, program and modify bots using C++ and behavior trees, and maintain the Python/pytest-based system controlling the bot and game. Django (DRF) database management, ES6/React data view creation, and collaboration with the team are also key aspects of this role. The position requires proficiency in C++, experience with REST and Jira APIs, Python, Django Rest Framework, ES6/React, and knowledge of data analysis.

Job Description

  • Creating and maintaining a tool for reporting defects directly from the game and the editor.
  • Creating and implementing automated performance tests for the game.
  • Programming and modifying a bot utilizing behavior trees in C++.
  • Maintaining and developing the system controlling the bot and the game, written in Python with pytest.
  • Managing the database using Django (DRF).
  • Creating data views and reports using ES6/React.
  • Collaborating with the team in various areas of the project.

Qualifications

You meet our expectations if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in working in a similar position (preferably in game development industry)
  • Proficiency in C++ programming (is a must)
  • Very good command of English (cooperation with English-speaking teams).
  • Experience with REST API and Jira API.
  • Practical knowledge of Python.
  • Experience in working with Django Rest Framework in the context of databases.
  • Familiarity with ES6 and React for creating user interfaces.
  • Knowledge or experience in data analysis and data mining.
