Summary

The Human Resources Sr. Manager for the MONTOI plant in Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico, oversees HR administration, drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance, develops and executes talent attraction and retention strategies, leads talent management and development, ensures payroll accuracy and compliance, acts as the primary leader for labor relations, champions organizational culture, supports the safety and quality management system (SIGO), applies ISO 45001 standards, and monitors operational measures to minimize workplace incidents. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in a factory or production environment and a strong understanding of Mexican labor laws.
Must have:
  • 10+ years managerial experience in a factory/production environment
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, or Engineering
  • Strong understanding of Mexican Labor Law (LFT), IMSS, INFONAVIT, STPS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ISO standards
  • Leadership, teamwork, collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English

Job Description

The Human Resources Sr. Manager for MONTOI plant in Escobedo Nuevo León, is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the organization’s HR administration, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with employer obligations.
  • Developing and execute strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  • Leading talent management and development initiatives to support employee growth and organizational success.
  • Ensuring adherence to payroll policies and procedures, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Acting as the primary leader for labor relations, fostering a collaborative and fair work environment.
  • Championing organizational culture and development, building a positive and productive workplace.
  • Supporting the safety and quality management system (SIGO) by implementing and following relevant procedures and guidelines.
  • Appling ISO 45001 standards and meet legal and corporate EHS requirements in all applicable areas.
  • Monitoring and enforce operational measures to minimize workplace incidents and promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in a managerial role, within a factory or production environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, or Engineering; relevant advanced diplomas in HR are an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Federal Labor Law (LFT), Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), INFONAVIT, and Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership, fostering teamwork, and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong focus on results, empathy, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Proficiency: Fluent in English
