Job Description

As a Stylized 3D Environment Artist Senior, you will be responsible for creating high-poly and low-poly models of stylized environments, weapons, and hard surface assets. You will work closely with the art team to ensure that the models are consistent with the game's art style. Your responsibilities will include: creating high-poly models in Zbrush and low-poly models in Max/Maya/Blender, following concepts and given styles, creating optimal UV mapping and texture baking, and creating stylized textures in Substance Painter.
Must have:
  • Experience in creating high-poly and low-poly models of stylized environment, weapons and hard surface assets on given concepts
  • High-poly sculpting in Zbrush
  • Low-poly modeling in Max/Maya/Blender
  • Experience in creating optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.)
  • Stylized texturing skills in Substance Painter and/or hand-painted texturing
  • Ability to follow and correctly interpret/improve the concept idea
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Intermediate English level and above
Good to have:
  • Ability to assemble assets into a scene in game engines (UnrealEngine 4, Unity, etc)
  • Skills in the creation of materials in Substance Designer
  • Rendering skills in VRay, Arnold, etc.

you have are

studio, you will

  • Create high-poly in Zbrush and low-poly models in Max/Maya/Blender of stylized environment, weapons and hard surface assets;
  • Be able to fully follow concepts and given style, correctly interpret them;
  • Create optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
  • Create stylized textures in Substance Painter and hand-painted texturing;
  • Have a good understanding of the modular system for asset creation;
  • Create tiles and trims and work with multiple UV channels.
