Job Description
This Systems Engineer role focuses on PostgreSQL DBA responsibilities. Key duties include managing databases, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance. Responsibilities encompass database fundamentals like DDL, data types, indexing, stored procedures, and views. The role also involves managing locking, blocking, and deadlocking, along with TSQL queries. Additionally, the engineer will handle backup and restore operations, clustering, and SQL Server installation and configuration, including patching.
Must have:
- PostgreSQL DBA expertise
- Strong knowledge of SQL DBA
- Experience with database fundamentals (DDL)
- Proficiency in TSQL queries (DML)
- Experience with backup and restore procedures
- Understanding of clustering
- Experience with SQL Server installation and configuration
