Due to rapidly increasing demand PwC is looking for an expert to help drive its Indirect Tax ERP and Data business for our offices in Brussels. With an unparalleled client base this opportunity represents a real tangible chance to work within a specialist team and help shape and build one of PwC’s growth priority businesses.
Your impact
As an (In)direct Tax ERP and Data Senior Associate, you’ll have impact by:
working on large scale transformation programmes including scoping, design and end-to-end implementation of tax technology solutions.
leveraging ERP system capabilities and other disruptive technologies (AI, Machine learning, Data & Analytics, RPA).
managing projects and providing solutions to specific problems with numerous technology sub projects.
working with blue chip clients (listed and inbound) across a broad spectrum of sectors.
supporting the day-to-day delivery of projects, as well as working closely with both senior and junior members of the team to provide outstanding service to our clients.
participating in the identification of technology vendors & solutions and process changes for our clients for requirements such as mandatory e-invoicing and real-time reporting.
supporting service proposition development and subsequent execution of the delivery of the service offerings.
identifying opportunity areas for new ways to leverage clients’ existing technology stack and participate in the iterative development.
About you
You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CTA, SAP Certification) are a plus.
You have experience ( 3-5 years) working with SAP in a finance related role, with a strong focus on SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO. Prior experience with implementing or optimizing SAP tax solutions is highly desirable (e.g. SAP DRC).You possess in-depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems and their application to tax processes, including indirect tax (VAT, GST), statutory or direct tax (new GL functionality), etc. You are proficient in configuring SAP tax modules, integrating tax engines, and customizing SAP for specific tax requirements.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex tax requirements into efficient SAP solutions. You are detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure.
You enjoy working as part of a team, bringing a collaborative approach to projects, and are committed to delivering high-quality results. You are also capable of leading projects or mentoring junior team members when needed.
You excel in communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and tax, to deliver comprehensive SAP tax solutions.
You are fluent in English.
