Job Summary

Manages a team of individuals whose primary objectives are to coordinate with the business units and information system (IS) vendors, facilitate application or technical infrastructure development, manage ongoing application or infrastructure production support, and participate in budget planning.  Manages coordination with NML and the North American affiliate companies as required for specific projects.  Understands Nissan business strategies and initiatives to develop information technology strategies and roadmaps as needed. Identifies, implements, and manages policies, procedures, and processes that contribute to the organization’s objectives.

Strategy: Understand the business strategy, and align the required project portfolio, initiatives and budget to support it.  This includes alignment with regional and global strategies as well.

 

Roadmap: Establish the plan, timing an order of initiatives that support the business strategy/initiatives, maintains current levels of hardware/software, plans and supports cloud migration of core systems and accounts for changes in regulations, information security.

 

Business Value: Proactively align with business and technology partners to raise new initiatives, automation, digitalization and innovation that offer additional business value, improve the customer experience, solve business problems and/or provide efficiencies to the organization.

 

Manage technology outsource vendor relationships. Develop agreements, objectives, SLAs and manage vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources and services.

 

Program/Project Management: Manage PMs to ensure projects align with desired business outcome, on planned schedule, manage scope, escalate issues, hold vendors accountable, ensure status is reported to senior management, and maintain budgeted cost.

 

Product Management: ensures applications under span of control adhere to cyber security standards, technology standards, processes, and policies. Manages the administration and management of services and ensures consistency across affiliates.

 

Management Accountabilities: Manage internal staff, external contractors, vendor resources and/or offshore resources. Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least 10 years of IT / IS experience

  • At least 5 years as an intermediate level manager or supervisor providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and training and contributing to staff development. Supervised subordinates or contractors whose roles were diverse in roles and objectives (e.g., Project Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, etc.).

  • Knowledge of vendor management, contract management, customer relationship management; project management skills; strong working knowledge of automotive business systems; oral and written communications skills; interpersonal skills; and conflict resolution skills.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Platform including but not limited to Sales & Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, forecasting, portfolio management and/or collaboration tools.

STRONGLY PREFERED:

·       Salesforce Platform/Admin Certifications

·       AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

·       Basic understanding of how Captive Finance not necessarily automotive industry would be good

·       Knowledge of vendor management, contract management, customer relationship management; project management skills; strong working knowledge of automotive business systems; oral and written communications skills; interpersonal skills; and conflict resolution skills.

·       Knowledge of Salesforce Platform including but not limited to Sales & Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud

·       Knowledge of BI/Data, Reporting and Analytics 

·       Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (preferably AWS) and Services

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, forecasting, portfolio management and/or collaboration tools.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, forecasting, portfolio management and/or collaboration tools.

Basic understanding of how Captive Finance not necessarily automotive industry would be good

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. Technology, Management or Program/project management certifications a plus.
