Job Description
Testronic Translation Department is seeking an English to Swedish translator to translate video game titles and updates, as well as marketing texts and materials. The role involves proofreading and editing the work of other translators to ensure high quality. This is an independent, project-based freelancing contract with competitive translation rates. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere, though the Localization Team operates within the CET time zone. Necessary tools, including a Memsource CAT tool license, will be provided. The work environment is informal and supportive.
Must have:
- Translate video games (full titles and updates)
- Translate marketing texts and materials
- Proofread and edit other translators' work
- Fluent in English and Swedish
Good to have:
- Interest in the gaming industry
- Experience with CAT tools

Job Details
Currently, Testronic Translation Department is looking for an English into Swedish who will:
- Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates.
- Additionally, translate marketing texts and materials from our clients and you would be responsible for translating them.
- Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality.
- Independent and project-based job (Typical Freelancing Contract).
- Decent translation rates.
- Opportunity to work remotely, from any place (however, please note our Localization Team works in the CET time zone).
- Needed tools (CAT tool license for Memsource for our projects).
- Informal and casual environment with a friendly attitude and support.
