Must have:

  • Proficiency in user research methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Experience working on both new product development and legacy system enhancements.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced UX Designer with expertise in enterprise software design. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences across platforms, contributing to both innovative projects like Raptor and the modernization of legacy systems. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of UX design experience, specifically in enterprise software environments  to be considered for this role.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Conduct comprehensive user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable insights.

  • Design & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure cohesive and user-centered design solutions.

  • Plan and execute usability tests to gather feedback, iterating designs based on user input and testing outcomes.

  • Organize and structure content in a logical and user-friendly manner, ensuring intuitive navigation and information flow.

  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across various products and platforms.

  • Accessibility Compliance: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards, providing inclusive experiences for all users.



EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.

  • 5–10 years of UX design experience, specifically in enterprise software environments.

  • Experience working on both new product development and legacy system enhancements.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects, highlighting problem-solving skills and design thinking processes.

  • Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Proficient in various user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to maintain a positive work attitude.

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Initiative and drive to do great things.
