Job Description

As a Working Student Game Testing & Quality Assurance, you will be involved in the development process and help ensure the smooth functioning of game systems, mechanics, and features. Your responsibilities will include identifying and tracking bugs, providing feedback on gameplay, and contributing to building a stable and polished gaming experience. You will playtest builds, document and report issues, re-test bug fixes, support test plan creation for new features, contribute to improving the overall gameplay, and assist with regression testing. You will gain deep insight into game production and work with a passionate and experienced team.
Must have:
  • Passion for games and attention to detail
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with PC games and platforms like Steam
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools
Good to have:
  • Interest in survival, RPG, or city-building games
  • Prior QA or playtesting experience

Your Role

As a Working Student Game Testing & Quality Assurance, you’ll be embedded in the development process and help ensure that our game systems, mechanics, and features function seamlessly. You’ll identify and track bugs, provide feedback on gameplay, and help us build the most stable and polished experience possible.


Responsibilities

  • Playtest builds to uncover bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases
  • Document and report issues clearly in our internal tracking system
  • Re-test resolved bugs and confirm proper functionality
  • Support the team in building structured test plans for new features
  • Contribute feedback to improve overall gameplay and user experience
  • Help with regression testing and release validation


Requirements

  • Passion for games and a strong attention to detail
  • Clear communication and methodical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with PC games and platforms like Steam
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar
  • Interest in survival, RPG, or city-building games is a plus
  • Prior QA or playtesting experience is helpful but not required
