Job Description

The Analytical Lead role at Google focuses on providing data-driven insights and recommendations to large customers in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Responsibilities include developing sophisticated sales strategies, consulting on marketing analytics and measurement, and collaborating with sales and product teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with Google advertising products, and fluency in English and Spanish. They will mentor team members, advise clients on marketing measurement plans, and act as a trusted advisor to large customers. This role requires expertise in data analysis, marketing measurement, and attribution techniques. The candidate will also need to be able to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in analytics, advertising sales, or data science
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Develop data-driven solutions for client challenges
  • Collaborate with sales teams
  • Advise clients on marketing analytics and measurement
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads, Analytics, Marketing Platform
  • SQL, R, or Python experience
  • A/B testing experience
  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (MMM, MTA)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or in a data science field.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R or Python.
  • Experience with data analytics or online experimentation via A/B testing.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

The Data, Measurement and Analytics (DM&A) team in Spanish Speaking Latin America drives growth for Google's most valued customers. We leverage data, advanced technology, and measurement strategies to help them succeed.

As an Analytical Lead, you will consult with clients and agencies, providing data-driven insights and recommendations that fuel business expansion. You'll develop sophisticated sales strategies aligned with client objectives and utilize your analytical expertise to solve complex business challenges.

You'll also partner with stakeholders across Google to drive customer success and demonstrate the value of integrating Google data with clients' internal systems.

In this role, you'll mentor team members on advanced techniques. You use data-driven insights to help our customers achieve their business objectives. You are a trusted advisor to large customers and help influence our customers’ marketing measurement plans. You are a key partner to Google's ad sales teams, who work to bring the best of Google's advertising solutions to their customers.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions for client business and marketing challenges while also uncovering opportunities. Collaborate with Sales team to innovate and develop scalable solutions cross industry challenges.
  • Act as an measurement advocate and analyst to impact client's digital maturiness. Consult with clients on opportunities associated with business patterns and potential business impact.
  • Advise client on methodologies for marketing and media analytics, measurement and attribution. Help customers navigate industry standards and alternatives.
  • Identify key decision makers, challenge the status quo and influence decisions. Foster client relationships with others in the organization including marketing/advertising, analytics, and corporate strategy, among others.
  • Partner with internal and external Product, Research, Data and Measurement teams to bring full analytical capabilities to customers.
