Position Summary

An Associate Business Development Manager role is now available within a leading global company which offers fast track career progression and opportunities to work worldwide.

The role will be suited to candidates who are degree qualified from any discipline but a native or near native command of English plus a high degree of fluency in at least one additional European languages is considered a pre-requisite for this post (please see below.)   The successful candidate will be commercially aware and have a confident personality on the phone and in person. Previous sales experience would be an advantage but is not essential as all applications will be considered.

The successful candidate will be required to maximise sales of the company’s goods and services by managing, enhancing and growing the company’s existing business. He or she will join an established and highly successful international sales team and will be responsible for account management for prestigious, governmental clients in Europe, The Middle East and Africa.

This role has a strong customer focus and you will be required to maintain and develop customer relationships via in-person meetings (carried out both remotely and at our clients’ overseas offices) telephone calls and e-mail correspondence.

Frequent international travel is an integral part of this role.

The Role:

*Account Management within the EMEA region; maintaining and developing customer relationships

*Preparation of tenders/bids and sales reports

*Presentations to prestigious governmental clients

*Contributing to the development of new products and making product improvements including the identification of new markets and potential business opportunities

*Regular travel across EMEA region

*Flexible hybrid working after an initial training and induction program which will be conducted at our offices in South Leeds.

The Person:

*Degree level education or equivalent.

*Previous experience in a customer facing role is desirable

*Native or near native command of English plus spoken and written fluency in at least one and preferably two of the following European languages: French, Spanish, German, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Greek or Italian
