Job Description

As a Cloud Developer at Redhorse Corporation, you will be essential in ensuring the efficiency, integrity, and security of our clients' systems. You will design, deploy, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure, directly impacting mission-critical applications for our government partners. Responsibilities include creating/maintaining operating systems and software, modifying existing software, and managing the DevSecOps environment. This role offers significant professional growth and exposure to advanced technologies.
Must have:
  • 4 years of experience in software development and cloud infrastructure management
  • Experience with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD)
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required
Good to have:
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with security best practices and DevSecOps tools
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Certifications in relevant cloud technologies

About the Role
Redhorse transforms how the government uses data and technology. As a Cloud Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, integrity, and security of our clients' systems. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of DevSecOps infrastructure, directly impacting mission-critical applications and services for our government partners. This is a high-impact role offering significant professional growth and exposure to advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities

    • Create and/or maintain operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.
    • Modify existing software and create special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
    • Design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch, and address interoperability issues for DevSecOps infrastructure tools.
    • Manage all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies within the DevSecOps environment.

Required Experience/Clearance

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 4 years of experience in software development and cloud infrastructure management.
    • Experience with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD).
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
    • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Desired Experience
