Nasdaq Clearing is looking for an experienced Compliance professional to join our team in Vilnius. As a Compliance Specialist, you will assist 1st line organization in ensuring compliance with regulatory and other commitments by identifying operational risks related to the clearing operations as well as by coordinating, improving or creating processes/frameworks across Nasdaq Clearing. The position includes both compliance related task and execution of processes within Nasdaq Clearing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Due Diligence and Know Your Customer requests for Nasdaq Clearing.
  • Developing and implementing improvements to meet organizational obligations, business goals, and support processes.
  • Supporting Nasdaq Clearing in outsourcing management and ensure compliance with the Outsourcing policy.
  • Monitoring, reporting, reviewing, and updating outsourcing agreements.
  • Communicating with service providers and ensuring reporting of important metrics.
  • Coordinating relationship meetings with financial market infrastructure counterparties.
  • Supervising the Operational Documentation Framework, ensuring regular review and updates of documentation.
  • Maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plan(s), involving stakeholders.
  • Participating in projects and initiatives based on business needs and priorities.

What we expect from you:

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient English language skills.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sense of ownership and results-driven demeanor.

It would be excellent if you have (opportunity to learn):

  • Good understanding of Nordic securities markets, the role of clearing houses, and regulatory environment.
  • Related work experience in compliance and risk-related positions.
  • Experience with EMIR regulation.

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week on-site and remotely (Hybrid model). As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible.
