Description

The Coordinator, Merchandise plays a vital role in assisting the team with driving sales efficiency and customer satisfaction for merchandise in the West. They will be part of the foundation to create end-to-end orders to delivery process of merchandise for distributors and retailers, ensuring timely order placements, localized product information, proper eStore updates, and delivery of merchandise shipments. They also assist with setting up various events and pop-up shops. With strong organizational skills, they will play a key role in the success of Square Enix’s merchandise business in the West.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, compiling and packaging solicitation materials to the managers specification ensuring completeness and professionalism in final presentation.
  • Assist with managing shipping orders from regional warehouses to domestic distributors and retailers, overseeing the release of eStore customer orders per assignment from Senior Manager.
  • Participate in bi-weekly/monthly calls with distributors and retailers to gather various information including but not limited to inventory status, market conditions, and product trends.
  • Assist in the set up Product Information Management (PIM) systems with product details based on the Product Master List.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on eStore listings to maintain accuracy and optimize customer experience.
  • Assist with the managing of marketing and promotional activities related to NA merchandise, including product site updates (e.g. FF Trading Card Game site), social media presence, CRM and other advertising activities.
  • Assist in customer support cases for merchandise and tabletop products working with other cross functional teams.
  • Provide additional feedback on future products in the planning phase and product naming per the manager request.
  • Assist with ERP setup with all relevant inputs to ensure accurate product data management.
  • Potential for weekend work and travel for consumer events (as needed).

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandise management, eCommerce, or related fields.
  • Knowledge and high interest in toys and figures, tabletop gaming, and hobby genres area.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator skills are plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay on your feet for occasional day-long events and help with setting up (carrying boxes up to 25 lbs.).
  • Proactive thinking and eagerness learn and grow.

Annual Salary Range: $48,000 - $52,000
