Job Description

The Copywriter at Hogarth will be responsible for crafting copy for various clients and generating ideas for the Creative Department. This role involves writing both long and short-form copy, including headlines, for print, digital, TV, and events. The copywriter will collaborate with the Creative Department and other internal departments, take and respond to briefs, and champion conceptual thinking and excellent writing. They will also need to understand the brands and provide support to colleagues, working closely with the Global Marketing Team. The role requires a proactive approach to creative problem-solving and the ability to work within a team environment.
Must have:
  • Extensive experience collaborating in teams within the industry
  • Proven creative experience in print, digital, and TV
  • Good working knowledge of Mac/Creative Suite programs
  • Competent in Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience developing client relationships and interactions
  • Confident in presenting to clients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Good to have:
  • Completed an apprenticeship program or possess equivalent qualification
  • Proactive in self-learning and skills improvement

What does a Copywriter do at Hogarth?

A copywriter at Hogarth is responsible for writing copy of all kinds and generating ideas for the Hogarth Creative Department.


• Writing copy in long and short form and headlines for a range of clients
• Produce Creative work of quality and in volume for Print, Digital, TV & Content, events and more
• Champion conceptual thinking and great writing; leading by example
• Collaborating with the Hogarth Creative Department and other internal departments
• Taking and responding to briefs from CD, CSM and other Internal clients
• Highlight and escalate creative issues to Creative line manager
• Demonstrate and champion clear understanding of brands
• Support and help colleagues
• Contribute to team meetings and other touchpoints
• Taking and responding to briefs from CD, CSM and other Internal clients

 You will work closely with Global Marketing Team.

Requirements

Extensive experience of working and collaborating in teams within industry


• Proven Creative experience in print, digital and TV
• A good working knowledge of Mac/Creative Suite programs
• Competent in of Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Demonstrable experience of developing relationships and interacting with clients
• Confident in formation and delivery of presentations to Clients
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced, professional and team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills

Preferable

• Completed an apprenticeship program or possess the equivalent qualification. E.g. ABC Diploma Print Production/BA
(Hons) Print Media/Diploma in Graphic Design
• Proactive in driving self-learning and skills improvement through training and keeping abreast
of industry changes
