- Drive the end-to-end software design process, including real-time processing systems, AI model integration, and 3D visualization workflows.
2. CT Console, Image Processing and AI Integration
- Lead the integration and optimization of medical image processing algorithms, such as iterative reconstruction, spectral CT techniques, and contrast enhancement.
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement AI/ML capabilities like disease detection, tissue segmentation, and automated measurements.
- Ensure seamless integration between AI-based models, CT image reconstruction, and visualization platforms to deliver robust clinical tools.
3. Foster Clinical Workflow Optimization
- Collaborate with clinical teams to assess real-world workflows and identify software features to improve efficiency, usability, and diagnostic accuracy.
- Propose and implement features to streamline radiological workflows, adapt to clinical scenarios, and minimize manual intervention.
4. Ensure Performance and Scalability
- Optimize the performance of CT imaging systems by ensuring GPU/CPU efficiency for intensive image processing tasks (e.g., 3D reconstruction, multi-planar rendering).
- Conduct profiling and benchmarking to guarantee software scalability for large datasets and multi-modality imaging systems.
5. Drive Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
- Architect software solutions in alignment with global medical device regulations, including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and DICOM requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural decisions, software design specifications, and test cases to support regulatory submissions.
6. Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering technical excellence in software development and ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including radiologists, algorithm developers, UI/UX designers, and regulatory specialists, to fulfill clinical and technical requirements.
7. Innovation and Research
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CT imaging technology, AI applications, and image processing techniques.
- Proactively propose innovative features to enhance system capabilities, improve diagnostic accuracy, and address emerging market needs.
You're the right fit if:
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) with a focus on medical imaging, image processing, or software systems.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years as an architect in medical imaging, AI, or similar fields.
- Hands-on experience in CT imaging technologies, algorithm integration, and large-scale medical device software development.

- System Optimization:
- Proven experience in real-time CT image processing, multi-threaded programming, and system performance profiling.
- Standards and Compliance:
- Strong knowledge of DICOM, PACS, HIS/RIS integration, and interoperability standards to build clinically compliant software platforms.
Other Skills
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to develop innovative and practical solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Team Leadership: Proven capacity to mentor and lead multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Strong articulation of technical plans and concepts to non-technical stakeholders and global teams.
- Adaptability to evolving clinical/technological trends and ability to apply them to development strategies.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
