Data Analyst / ETL Engineer

N-iX is looking for Data Analyst / ETL Engineer to join our team! 

Our customer is a technology company that powers one of the world's largest two-sided marketplaces for high-quality photos, illustrations, videos and music used by individuals, businesses, marketing agencies and media organizations of all sizes. In this role, you will be working with highly motivated and talented data engineers who are primarily focusing on migrating data from SQL Server to Snowflake.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze SQL Code (part of existing Reports or ETL) and convert to equivalent Snowflake SQL to help migrate from legacy data warehouse tables to new data warehouse tables
- Ensure migrated code performs optimally, delivers the same data output and document all observations and anomalies
- Perform extensive testing and comparison of different data sources/tables and document anomalies and differences
- Capture all test results and outputs as proof of migration
- Create required documentation to support users of new Data Warehouse tables.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data in databases
- Hands on with querying data from various sources, analysis and comparison of data across multiple sources
- Analytical abilities and self driven, who dig into data and understands patterns, before asking questions
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes is a plus
- Experience in data integration/migration from various data sources, including structured and unstructured data
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure data quality
- Experience with Snowflake is desired but not mandatory
- Tableau (familiarity with any BI tool is good)
- Any other Data Engineering skillset like DBT, SQL Server (SSIS) etc is great to have
