Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at SimCorp, you will be expected to thrive in an agile environment with advanced teamwork skills. You will be responsible for engaging in Scrum events, collaborating with product owners and engineers, maintaining the existing codebase, and contributing to code reviews. You will also be involved in promoting continuous learning, constructing and maintaining solutions, and sharing knowledge within the team. The role requires proficiency in automation tools, Azure Cloud Technology, and Windows OS. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Must have:
  • Experience with Azure configuration tool stack
  • Practical experience with CI/CD solutions
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Windows AD, DNS, Networking, PowerShell, Python, Ansible/Terraform, and Azure
  • Broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure automation
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation
  • Experience in Azure Identity Management and access control
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, log analytics, and application insights
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with Citrix DaaS, NetScaler solutions
  • Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus monitoring stack

What is important for us is knowledge within automation and scripting tools like Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell also proficiency in utilizing Azure Cloud Technology Tool stacks and expertise in Windows OS and its applications.

   

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Engage in Scrum events and contribute to the planning process to ensure the team meets its goals, including defining the completion criteria for each sprint.  
  • Collaborate with the product owner and fellow engineers to refine and enhance new features.  
  • Uphold the integrity of the existing code base through maintenance and bug fixes.  
  • Contribute to code reviews and formulate comprehensive test scenarios for the platform.  
  • Promote continuous learning and development for yourself, the team, and our platform.  
  • Construct and maintain solutions that optimize reliability, performance, and maintainability.  
  • Play an active role in sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.  
  • Explore emerging technologies and evaluate potential solutions to improve our platform

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Experience with Azure configuration tool stack (ARM templates, Bicep, Az PowerShell, Az CLI)  
  • Practical experience working with modern CI/CD solutions.  
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Windows AD, AAD, DNS, Networking, PowerShell scripting, Python, Ansible/Terraform, and Azure.  
  • Have a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure automation in general.  
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.  
  • Experience in Azure Identity Management and access control security.  
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, log analytics, and application insights.  
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with a service-oriented mindset.  
  • Language skills: English level B2 or C1 both written & verbal. (European language scale - CEFR)
  • Proficiency in working with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment, and orchestration.
  • Experience with Citrix DaaS, NetScaler solutions
  • Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus monitoring stack
