Job Description

This Digital Enterprise Sales role focuses on selling Dynamics 365 solutions to enterprise customers. Responsibilities include driving digital transformation, meeting operational standards, managing customer opportunities, collaborating with partners and internal teams, and closing complex deals. The ideal candidate will have experience selling CRM/ERP or similar cloud-based business applications, a strong understanding of Microsoft's solutions and strategies, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced sales environment. The role requires engagement with customers to deliver connected experiences, exceeding expectations, and achieving customer satisfaction through digital sales excellence. The candidate will also contribute to sales excellence by working on pipeline and opportunity management.
Must have:
  • 6+ years sales experience OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years sales experience
  • Experience selling cloud services to large customers
  • CRM/ERP or SaaS sales experience

Overview

Digital Enterprise Sales (DES), as part of Microsoft’s Global Enterprise Sales organization, empowers our customers through the unique value of the Microsoft Cloud by building a globally led, digital-first scale organization aligned with partners. As part of our local subsidiaries or Digital Sales centers around the world, you will engage a dedicated set of enterprise customers to identify and achieve their business objectives through best-in-class digital engagement and partner co-selling. As part of our transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions. The Global Enterprise Sales organization with a charter to achieve Microsoft and Customer business outcomes with a focus on AI, Copilot and Security

 

We are looking for an Digital Enterprise Sales- Business Applications, specializing in Dynamics 365 solutions. You will work with our most important customers within our Enterprise organization. You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft. 

 

Qualifications

 

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years sales and negotiation experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field AND 3+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience or selling cloud services to large/global customers
  • Experience with selling CRM/ERP or similar software-as-a-service, cloud-based business applications
  • Demonstrate the business value of Microsoft's solutions with an understanding of Microsoft's strategies and products relative to major Microsoft competitors
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage competing priorities and work effectively with high levels of autonomy and self-direction in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic teaming environment

 

Digital Cloud Acquisition IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $71,600 - CAD $111,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with and enable our customers to deliver a connected customer engagement experience and drive customer satisfaction through digital sales excellence.
  • Meet operational standards and maintain reporting accuracy for key metrics.
  • Work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic teaming environment to effectively manage customer opportunities, deliver connected experiences, achieve customer outcomes, and accelerate value across the customer lifecycle. 
  • Operational and sales excellence discipline, including planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder communication, services/partner engagement and sales excellence practices including pipeline and opportunity management and closes large, multi-cloud complex deals with multiple decision makers.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in a chosen area and shares best practices and insights with other team members proactively and consistently.
  • Works across partners and internal teams to deliver customer experience and developing demand and pipe by building Business Development networking, assessing strategic customer objectives, digital transformation opportunities, and present incremental value from solutions proposed.
  • Build relationships, collaborate, and influence across organizations, functions, and stakeholder groups and acts as a mentor for new hires and expand onboarding activities to broader teams.
