Job Description

As a Field Service Technician at Tesla, you'll be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of their renewable energy storage products and superchargers in Finland. Your daily tasks will include traveling to various sites to perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshoot and repair issues, and conduct commissioning activities. You will work independently and manage stakeholders, serving as the first point of contact for contractors. Troubleshooting and root cause analysis, both remotely and on-site, are key responsibilities. You'll also contribute to preventing recurring issues and provide feedback to engineering teams. The role demands organizational skills for planning and managing technical activities, requiring both Finnish and English fluency, along with an EU passport or work permit. Experience in electrical engineering, specifically low and medium voltage systems, is essential. High voltage experience is a plus. International travel may be required.

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Finland. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Finland and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in Finish and a good command of English
An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
