About the team
The finance department of Thales Nederland consists of ~50 team members organized in 2 different competence centers (clusters):

• Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling;
• Bid & Project, Industrial and Procurement Control (Business Control)

Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling is responsible for accounting, reporting and controlling of departments and entities of Thales Nederland. The cluster is also responsible for internal control and subsidy control. For the Financial Control team, we are looking for a:

About the job
As a Financial Controller, with a focus on reporting, you will be involved in all aspects of reporting regarding various (financial) topics such as reporting on actuals, forecasts, multi-year budgets, capital expenditures, cash-flow etc. The main tasks are:

• Prepare and deliver accurate & timely management reporting for: Thales Nederland B.V. (consolidated); Business Line Above Water Systems; Non-business units of Thales Nederland B.V.; Capital expenditures of Thales Nederland B.V.; Cash-flow overviews of Thales Nederland B.V.
• Ad-hoc reporting requests
• Analyze financial data to provide insights that support the (management) team in their decisions
• Prepare various (management) reports and analyses for our internal and external auditors
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations and Senior management

About you

• You have just finished your Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or started some years ago with your working career in a Financial Control position
• You have an enthusiastic, pro-active attitude and feel responsible for your job
• You are analytically minded, have problem-solving abilities and a great attention for detail
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English
• You are able to work independently, in a team environment and with various organizational levels

Affinity with ERP systems and IT tooling is an advantage; preferably Oracle
We are looking for a candidate with passion for finance and who likes to work in an informal environment. You are a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for reporting and analysis. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial in this role. You have the ability to understand more complex issues and to see the overall view.
